Dead Heart is a six-part Australian horror animation series that gives free reign to some of the country’s best 2D animators to adapt scripts written by exciting young genre writers working in the world of Australian horror filmmaking. Suggested story ideas evoke gothic and supernatural themes and imagery but are specifically placed in an Australian context where the haunting and violence of land and place, the untamed natural elements, and a reckoning with an unnamed horrific past bind together the different stories in theme and worldbuilding.
